About Petz

The Petz series, created by PF.Magic, is a series of virtual life simulator games where you can adopt, raise, care, and breed dogs and cats. The series began in 1995 with the game Dogz: Your Computer Pet. Catz: Your Commputer Pet and Oddball: Your Wacky Computer Petz followed in 1996. Over the next seven years, there were four more games released -- Dogz & Catz 2, 3, 4 and 5, each added more to the game and you could import your petz into the newer release. This is my little spot on the Internet to share my love for Petz. This time around, my site is a place for me to showcase my petz and actually play the game instead of curating information!

About Silly Spots

The pink dali you will see running around here is the very first dog I adopted back on February 25, 1998, when I first played Dogz 2. I love this boy so much!!! He was the mascot of Abby's Dogz Society in 1998 and he's out of retirement to do the job again! He is a trickster and can do many tricks and is in training to learn more. He is a big part of my love for the Petz game series.

About Me

I'm Abby. I'm married and the momma to three wonderful furbabies: Snow, Asha and Tao.

I originally ran a site called Abby's Dogz Society in 1998. I closed it in late 1999 and opened The Petz Warehouse which was a warehouse of resources and information about the Petz games. I aslo ran several other sites.By the mid-2000s I was no longer involved in the Petz Community.

In June 2023, I started thinking about the game, my web site building experience, and the Petz community in general. I was pleasantly surprised to see the community is thriving! I installed Petz 4 on my computer and my love of the game came back like it never left.
